THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  NEARSHORE AND OPEN WATERS FROM ST JOSEPH TO GRAND HAVEN MI...

AT 1128 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS AND SMALL HAIL. THE
LEADING EDGE OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM NEAR PORT SHELDON TO 15 NM WEST OF THE SOUTH HAVEN
LIGHT...MOVING EAST AT 20 KNOTS.  STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO HEAD
TOWARD SHORE THROUGH 1 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
