THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  PAMLICO SOUND...

AT 722 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 9 NM EAST OF SWANQUARTER TO
NEAR ENGELHARD...MOVING EAST AT 25 KNOTS.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  THE CENTER OF THE PAMLICO SOUND AROUND 745 PM EDT.
  PAMLICO SOUND AROUND 750 PM EDT.
  HATTERAS VILLAGE AROUND 815 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
