.INCREASING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN
SEABOARD AND LOW PRESSURE SCOOTING INTO NORTH TEXAS HAS BROUGHT
LOCALLY HAZARDOUS WINDS TO THE LAGUNA MADRE THIS AFTERNOON.
CONDITIONS SHOULD GRADUALLY IMPROVE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

* WINDS...20 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS...MAINLY FROM THE CENTER
  CHANNEL WEST TO THE PORT ISABLE SHORE OF LAGUNA MADRE BAY
  BETWEEN PORT ISABEL AND SOUTH PADRE ISLAND...AND FARTHER NORTH
  BETWEEN ARROYO COLORADO AND THE LAND CUT IN KENEDY COUNTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WIND MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 20 TO
33 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE
OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
