...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT PST TONIGHT...

* WINDS...Northerly gales will persist through tonight with
  occasional gusts near 40 kt possible.

* SEAS...Steep, combined sea state 11 to 14 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

* WINDS...The strongest winds will be near Point Saint George
  and Cape Mendocino around N 15 to 25 kt with gusts near 30 kt.
  Light winds in other areas should increase through the
  evening.

* SEAS...Very steep waves around N 10 to 12 around 8 seconds
  through tonight.

* WINDS...Increasing N 15 to 25 kt with occasional gusts near 35
  kt. Strongest wind gusts will be near Cape Mendocino this
  afternoon and then also near Point Arena later tonight.

* SEAS...NW-N 8 ft around 12 seconds late this afternoon. Very
  steep waves will build through tonight to 10 to 12 ft around 8
  seconds.
