URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...GUSTY SOUTHEAST WINDS AND HIGH WAVES THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

.GUSTY SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL CONTINUE AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM. THE WINDS WILL PRODUCE HIGH WAVES ON LAKE
MICHIGAN ALONG WITH A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW. THE GUSTY WINDS
AND HIGH WAVES WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE DURING THE LATE MORNING AND
AFTERNOON.

* WINDS WILL BE FROM THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 TO 25 KTS WITH A FEW
  GUSTS TO 30 KTS THIS MORNING. THE WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE
  SOUTHWEST AND DIMINISH TO 10 TO 15 KTS DURING THE LATE MORNING
  AND AFTERNOON.

* WAVES SHOULD BE 5 TO 8 FT THIS MORNING...THEN GRADUALLY SUBSIDE
  TO 2 TO 4 FT BY LATE AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
