...STRONG FRONT TO BRING GALES, VERY STEEP SEAS THURSDAY AND
THURSDAY NIGHT...

.A STRONG FRONT WILL MOVE TOWARD THE COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY, THEN
MOVE THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. EXPECT SOUTH GALES
TO DEVELOP FROM LATE THURSDAY MORNING INTO THURSDAY AFTERNOON,
THEN PERSIST THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING. SEAS WILL BECOME VERY STEEP
AND HAZARDOUS DURING THIS TIME PERIOD AND CONTINUE INTO EARLY
FRIDAY MORNING. MARINERS CAN EXPECT VERY ROUGH SEAS DURING THIS
PERIOD OF HAZARDOUS WEATHER AND SHOULD CONSIDER REMAINING IN PORT
OR AT LEAST CONSIDER ALTERING PLANS. STAY TUNED TO NATIONAL

* WINDS...WEST TO SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 KT THROUGH TONIGHT THEN
  INCREASING TO SOUTH GALES 30 TO 40 KT WITH GUSTS TO 50 KT
  THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THURSDAY EVENING.

* SEAS...COMBINED SEAS OF 8 TO 10 FEET THIS EVENING...EASING TO 6
  TO 8 FEET OVERNIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. SEAS BECOMING STEEP
  TO VERY STEEP AT 10 TO 15 FEET THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY
  NIGHT.

* AREAS AFFECTED...STEEP SEAS WILL AFFECT MOST AREAS BEYOND 2 NM
  FROM SHORE THIS EVENING. GALES AND VERY STEEP SEAS THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY NIGHT ARE EXPECTED MOSTLY BEYOND 10 NM
  FROM SHORE...BUT WILL BE CLOSER TO SHORE NEAR CAPE BLANCO.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE HARBOR
PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING MEANS VERY STEEP AND HAZARDOUS SEA
CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. RECREATIONAL BOATERS SHOULD
REMAIN IN PORT, OR TAKE SHELTER UNTIL WAVES SUBSIDE.  COMMERCIAL
VESSELS SHOULD PREPARE FOR ROUGH SEAS AND CONSIDER REMAINING IN
PORT OR TAKING SHELTER IN PORT UNTIL HAZARDOUS SEAS SUBSIDE.
