...GALE WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...
...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Small
Craft Advisory...which is in effect until 1 AM EST Monday.

* WIND AND WAVES DURING THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...Expect
  sustained winds of up to 27 knots from the southwest, with
  gusts up to 34 knots. The largest expected significant waves
  will be 7 feet with a maximum wave height of up to 11 feet
  possible.

* TIMING...The maximum winds are expected around 5 PM EST Sunday
  with the largest waves expected around 5 PM EST Sunday.

The Gale Warning is now in effect until 5 PM EST this afternoon.

* WIND AND WAVES DURING THE GALE WARNING...Expect sustained
  winds of up to 29 knots from the southwest, with gusts up to
  36 knots. The largest expected significant waves will be 8
  feet with a maximum wave height of up to 11 feet possible.

* TIMING...The maximum winds are expected around 4 PM EST Sunday
  with the largest waves expected around 4 PM EST Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

  knots. The largest expected significant waves will be 6 feet
  with a maximum wave height of up to 8 feet possible.

* TIMING...The maximum winds are expected around 4 PM EST Sunday
  with the largest waves expected around 9 PM EST Sunday.
