SOUTHWEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH ACROSS SOME LOCATIONS ALONG THE ENTIRE
FLORIDA KEYS ISLAND CHAIN AS WELL AS THE IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING
FLORIDA BAY...NEARSHORE GULF...AND HAWK CHANNEL WATERS. SCATTERED TO
NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO IMPACT THE GULF AND
ATLANTIC WATERS WEST OF THE KEY WEST...OR THE WATERS WITHIN 20 NM
NORTH AND 40 NM SOUTH OF THE MARQUESAS KEYS OUT TO DRY TORTUGAS
NATIONAL PARK. OTHER ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FOUND
BEYOND 25 NM OFFSHORE OF THE KEYS IN THE FLORIDA STRAITS. MARINERS
AND MOTORISTS IN THE PATH OF THE STRONGEST SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL
ENCOUNTER SHORT PERIODS OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACCOMPANIED BY
VISIBILITY LESS ONE HALF OF A MILE...WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 25 AND 35
MPH...AND OCCASIONAL TO FREQUENT CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING STRIKES.
