...FREEZING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO...

.More widespread, longer-lived freezing conditions will occur
overnight. Many locations within the San Juan basin are expected
to observe between two to four hours of sub-freezing temperatures
through the morning hours Monday.

...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 8 AM MDT
MONDAY...

* LOCATION...The Northwest Plateau, including Farmington,
  Shiprock, Aztec, Flora Vista, and Bloomfield.

* TIMING...3 AM to 8 AM Monday.

* TEMPERATURES...Falling between 28 and 32 degrees.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Those still maintaining late season gardening
  interests will want to take necessary precautions to protect
  sensitive vegetation. Protect any exposed pipes or water
  lines, such as those associated with swamp coolers. Those with
  small pets will want to shelter them inside from the cold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
