...Dense fog will hamper travel through 10 AM...

Dense fog has developed this morning in the foothills of northwest
North Carolina and into sections of the North Carolina Piedmont.
Fog is expected to remain dense through the mid-morning hours,
impacting the morning commute. Visibilities are expected to improve
as west winds increase later this morning.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM EST this morning.

* Locations...Northwest North Carolina foothills and north-central
  Piedmont.

* Hazards...Dense fog.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...Fog will remain dense at times, impacting travel
  through the Monday morning commute before dissipating around 10
  am.

* Impacts...Limited visibilities will make for very difficult
  travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
