...NEAR FREEZING TEMPERATURES IN THE VALLEYS WITH AREAS OF FROST
TONIGHT AND TUESDAY NIGHT...

.Continued breezy to windy this evening, then winds decreasing
late tonight. With clear skies and light winds, temperatures will
drop rapidly in wind-sheltered areas. Areas of frost are expected
along with freezing conditions in portions of the Inland Empire.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has cancelled the High
Wind Warning.

Continued breezy with westerly winds of 15 to 25 MPH with gusts to
35 MPH through about sunset, but high winds are no longer expected.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has cancelled the Wind
Advisory.

* Winds are expected to remain below Advisory criteria for the
  remainder of the day.

* Temperatures...Falling into the lower to mid 30s late tonight
  into Tuesday morning, with areas of frost possible. Coldest
  areas in the inland valleys near the foothills of the
  mountains.

* Impacts...Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left
  uncovered.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected.
Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

  into Tuesday morning...and into the 30s tonight into Wednesday
  morning.

* Duration...Several hours of temperatures sufficient for frost
  each night with 4 to 6 hours of near or below freezing
  conditions.

* Location...Coldest in low-lying, wind-sheltered areas...
  especially in southern and eastern portions of the Inland
  Empire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

  into Tuesday morning with areas of frost possible.

* Duration...Several hours with temperatures sufficient for
  frost late tonight into Tuesday morning.

* Impacts...Strong winds will make travel difficult for high-
  profile vehicles. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if
  left uncovered.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

  Coachella Valley north and east of Interstate 10.

* Impacts...Strong winds will make travel difficult for high-
  profile vehicles. Blowing dust and sand may reduce visibility
  to near zero in a few locations.
