DISCUSSION: A COUPLE OF STORM SYTEMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE FORECAST
AREA THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THIS WEEK...AND POSSIBLY NEXT
WEEKEND. THE FIRST TWO STORMS THROUGH TUESDSAY WILL BRING HIGHER RAINFALL
TOTALS TO AREAS NORTH OF POINT CONCEPTION...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE
COASTAL FOOTHILLS OF NORTHWEST SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY WHERE 3 TO 4
INCHES OF RAIN COULD OCCUR. OTHERWISE RAINFALL TOTALS THROUGH TUE
AREA EXPECTED TO AVERAGE ONE TO TWO INCHES ACROSS SLO AND SBA
COUNTIES. ACROSS VTU COUNTY, EXPECT ONE HALF TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN
INCH OF RAIN, WITH UP TO 1.5 INCHES IN THE WESTERN MOUNTAINS. ACROSS
L.A. COUNTY RAINFALL TOTALS SHOULD BE ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF OF AN INCH,
WITH LOCAL TOTALS UP TO AN INCH POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS. SNOW LEVELS
WILL BE RATHER HIGH THROUGH AT LEAST EARLY TUE, SO AT THIS POINT,
JUST EXPECT A FEW INCHES OF SNOW AT RESORT LEVELS.

DRY WEATHER SHOULD FOLLOW THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. AN UNSETTLED PATTERN
IS POSSIBLE NEXT WEEKEND.
