...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES GETTING SHATTERED ACROSS CENTRAL AND
SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...

AT 1 PM CST, THE TEMPERATURE IN SALINA HAD REACHED 85 DEGREES. THIS
HAS TORCHED THE RECORD OF 75 DEGREES FOR NOVEMBER 24TH THAT HAD BEEN
SET IN 1990.

AT 1 PM CST, THE TEMPERATURE IN RUSSELL HAD REACHED 84 DEGREES. THIS
HAS TORCHED THEIR RECORD OF 75 DEGREES FOR NOVEMBER 24TH THAT HAD
ALSO BEEN SET IN 1990.

AT 1 PM CST, THE TEMPERATURE AT WICHITA`S EISENHOWER AIRPORT HAD
REACHED 73 DEGREES. THIS HAS BROKEN THE RECORD OF 70 DEGREES FOR
NOVEMBER 24TH SET WAY BACK IN 1915.

SALINA AND RUSSELL MAY ALSO TIE, OR EVEN BREAK, THEIR RECORD HIGH
TEMPERATURES FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER!

THE NOVEMBER RECORD HIGH FOR SALINA IS 89 DEGREES THAT WAS SET ON
NOVEMBER 8TH, 2006.

THE NOVEMBER RECORD HIGH FOR RUSSELL IS ALSO 89 DEGREES THAT, TOO,
WAS SET ON NOVEMBER 8TH, 2006.

A FINAL RECORD EVENT REPORT WILL BE ISSUED EARLY THIS EVENING WHEN
