A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES OF 60 DEGREES WAS SET AT BLUEFIELD WV
JANUARY 16TH. THIS TIED THE OLD RECORD OF 60 SET IN 1990. THE
NORMAL HIGH FOR JANUARY 16TH IS 42 DEGREES.

THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 43 DEGREES ALSO BROKE A RECORD FOR WARMEST
LOW FOR JANUARY 16TH. THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 42 DEGREES SET IN
2000. NORMALLY, THE LOW SHOULD BE 26 DEGREES.
