...AN ENHANCED FIRE DANGER WILL OCCUR ON MONDAY FOR THE FOUR STATE
REGION THAT INCLUDES EXTREME SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...SOUTHWEST AND
SOUTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS...EAST AND NORTHEAST TEXAS...AND NORTHWEST
AND NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...

A DRY COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE FOUR STATE REGION OVERNIGHT
SUNDAY WITH SURFACE DEW POINTS FALLING INTO THE TEENS AND LOWER
TWENTIES MONDAY. BUILDING HIGH PRESSURE IN WAKE OF THE BOUNDARY
WILL PRODUCE STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS OF 15-25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS
TO 35-40 MPH...RESULTING IN LOWER RELATIVE HUMIDITIES OF 15-22
PERCENT. THESE CONDITIONS WILL PRODUCE AN ENHANCED FIRE DANGER
FOR THE AREA DUE TO VERY LITTLE RECENT RAINFALL AND DRY FUELS.

EXTREME CARE IS URGED DURING ALL OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES WHERE THERE
IS A POTENTIAL FOR GRASS FIRES AND FIRES TO START AND SPREAD
RAPIDLY. AVOID OUTSIDE BURNING AND DO NOT TOSS LIT CIGARETTE BUTTS
OUTSIDE... ESPECIALLY FROM A MOVING CAR WHERE WINDS CAN QUICKLY
FAN A FLAME. REPORT ALL WILD FIRES TO THE NEAREST FIRE DEPARTMENT
OR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE QUICKLY.
