SOUTH TEXAS....

.A COLD FRONT...MOVING THROUGH SOUTH TEXAS EARLY THIS
MORNING...WILL BRING IN MUCH DRIER AIR TO THE REGION. NORTHWEST
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS
BY LATE MORNING. RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL FALL TO AROUND 35
PERCENT ALONG THE COAST TO AROUND 15 PERCENT ALONG THE RIO GRANDE
DURING THE AFTERNOON. THIS WILL LEAD TO CRITICAL FIRE DANGER
CONDITIONS FOR ALL OF SOUTH TEXAS...ESPECIALLY BY EARLY SATURDAY
AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL DIMINISH BY 5 PM SATURDAY AS TEMPERATURES
FALL A BIT...RESULTING IN AN INCREASE IN HUMIDITY AND AN END TO
THE CRITICAL FIRE DANGER.

* HUMIDITY...LOWEST AFTERNOON HUMIDITY WILL RANGE FROM 15 PERCENT

  COASTAL BEND.

* IMPACTS...FIRES WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY. SUBSTANTIAL

WILDFIRES QUICKLY TO THE NEAREST FIRE DEPARTMENT OR LAW
