...ALL RIVER FORECAST POINTS WERE BELOW FLOOD STAGE THIS MORNING...

RAINFALL SINCE SATURDAY NIGHT HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANT ACROSS THE AREA...
WITH AMOUNTS RANGING FROM ABOUT ONE TO THREE INCHES. RUNOFF HAS
PRODUCED MINOR STAGE RISES ON RIVERS ACROSS THE AREA.

A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE AREA TONIGHT BEFORE STALLING NEAR
THE COAST. LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP TUESDAY ALONG
THE STALLED FRONT AND BEGIN CIRCULATING ATLANTIC MOISTURE INLAND.
MORE RAIN IS LIKELY MAINLY FOR TUESDAY EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY
MORNING FROM THIS SYSTEM...WITH ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS OF AROUND
ONE-HALF INCH OR MORE POSSIBLE.

THE AFFECTS OF THIS SYSTEM ON AREA RIVERS WILL DEPEND ON HOW
WIDESPREAD ANY HEAVIER RAIN IS...AND HOW MUCH POWER-GENERATING
ACTIVITY WILL OCCUR WITH THE ARRIVAL OF COLDER AIR BY MID-WEEK.
