...HIGH WATER TO CONTINUE ALONG THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER AT
   GLENDIVE...

THE RIVER GAUGE ON THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER AT GLENDIVE HAS SHOWN A
SHARP RISE IN THE RIVER LEVEL DUE TO RECENT THUNDERSTORM RUNOFF AND
ONGOING MOUNTAIN SNOW MELT. THE LATEST READING AS OF 130 PM ON JUNE
2ND WAS 52.O6 FEET...WHICH IS ABOVE THE ACTION STAGE OF 51.5 FEET.
THE LATEST FORECAST SHOWS THE RIVER RISING TO NEAR 52.3 FEET THROUGH
TUESDAY...BEFORE GRADUALLY LOWERING BELOW ACTION STAGE WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON.

AS A RESULT OF THE HIGH WATER CONDITIONS...SOME VERY MINOR LOWLAND
FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED NEAR GLENDIVE. PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR
THE LATEST RIVER FORECASTS.
