Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Over the past 24 hours, a combination of rain and snow has
fallen across the region. Across much of Eastern Ohio and
Western Pennsylvania, the water equivalent of the
precipitation was 0.50 inches or less. However, across
Southwestern Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia, the
liquid equivalent of the precipitation ranged from 0.75
to 2.00 inches.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is
forecast to range from a trace to 0.25 inches across Eastern
Ohio and most of Western Pennsylvania. Across Northern West
Virginia, basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of
snow is forecast to range from a 0.10 to 0.50 inches.

River trends...
The Monongahela River and its tributaries are falling at this
time. Over the next 24 to 36 years, the Upper Ohio river will
crest and begin to fall.
