Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will move east across the area today, bringing cooler
than normal conditions with mostly cloudy skies. Low pressure over
the Great Lakes will bring freezing rain to western Maryland and the
eastern panhandle of West Virginia late this evening, with a cold
rain elsewhere Sunday night into Monday. Moderating temperatures
and dry conditions are expected during the first half of this week.

A return to very cold weather is expected for the second half of
the week...with low pressure approaching for next weekend.
