Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will remain in control of the region`s weather through
tonight, with temperatures returning to near seasonal levels after a
couple days of cooler than normal conditions.

A cold front will approach from the west on Saturday, bringing
scattered showers to the region before moving east of the Chesapeake
Bay Saturday evening. In the wake of the frontal passage, winds will
be gusty both Saturday night and Sunday. Snow showers will develop
Saturday evening along the Allegheny front, likely leaving about an
inch of snow in the mountain areas before tapering to flurries after
midnight.

High pressure will return Sunday and continue through mid-week with
dry and warmer than normal conditions.
