...Pockets of freezing rain for morning commute...

An area of light rain mixed with snow or sleet is moving across
portions of the Mohawk Valley, Capital Region, Saratoga Region,
northern and central Taconics, Berkshire, northern Catskills, and
southern Vermont between 530 am and 8 am. Temperatures are
hovering at or a few degrees below freezing in some locations, and
some spotty or pockets of freezing rain are possible.

Untreated surfaces will become slippery on roads and sidewalks.
Motorists this morning should drive with caution and be prepared
for some spotty slick surfaces and changing road conditions.
Temperatures will warm into the mid 30s to lower 40s quickly this
morning.
