...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND
PARTS OF NORTHWEST INDIANA THROUGH 1230 PM CDT...

Scattered thunderstorms moving east southeast at 30 to 40 mph will
be capable of producing hail up to nickel size at times. The
strongest storms will be capable of marginally severe hail up to
quarter size in diameter. These storms are also producing
torrential rainfall that may lead to localized flooding, along
with frequent cloud to ground lightning. Seek a safe shelter
inside a building or vehicle when threatening weather approaches
and remain until the storms pass. Monitor local radio stations
and available television stations for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
