...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT CENTRAL
JONES...SOUTHERN LENOIR...NORTHWESTERN CRAVEN...ONSLOW...DUPLIN AND
WEST CENTRAL CARTERET COUNTIES THROUGH 900 AM EDT...

At 716 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain were
located along a line extending from near Harrells to near Hampstead.
Movement was northeast at 20 mph. The storms will move to near a
Kinston to Swansboro line by 9 AM, producing widespread rainfall of
1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible and may result in
minor flooding of poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Kinston, Wallace, Warsaw, New River Station, Pumpkin
Center, Piney Green, Half Moon, Camp Lejeune Center, Swansboro, Cape
Carteret, Rose Hill, Richlands, Beulaville, Maysville, Kenansville,
Harrells, Albert J Ellis Airport, Sneads Ferry and Hammocks Beach
State Park.

Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
