...WINTER WEATHER WILL RETURN TO EASTERN WASHINGTON AND EASTERN
OREGON TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...

A WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS WASHINGTON AND OREGON TODAY.
THIS WILL PRODUCE RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW. ANOTHER
STRONGER SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. THIS WILL
BRING HEAVIER RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW. SNOW LEVELS WILL BE 3000 TO
4000 FEET THROUGH FRIDAY THEN FALL TO 1500 FEET FRIDAY NIGHT.

A PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY
NIGHT WILL RESULT IN SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AROUND 6 TO 12 INCHES IN
MANY AREAS. NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED BELOW 2000 FEET.

MOST OF WASHINGTON AND OREGON HAS RECEIVED NO SIGNIFICANT WINTER
WEATHER DURING THE PAST MONTH. WINTER IS NOT OVER. BE PREPARED
FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS. LONG RANGE FORECASTS ARE INDICATING
ANOTHER STRONG COLD FRONT EARLY NEXT WEEK THAT COULD BRING SNOW TO
ALL ELEVATIONS.
