...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CAPE MAY...SOUTHEASTERN ATLANTIC
AND SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTIES...

AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS COVERED PORTIONS OF ATLANTIC...CAPE
MAY AND OCEAN COUNTIES AT 953 AM EDT. THESE STORMS WERE GENERALLY
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND
THE STORM WILL AFFECT THE BEACHES. FOR YOUR SAFETY...IMMEDIATELY MOVE
OFF THE BEACH AND SEEK SHELTER INDOORS.

VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL FROM THESE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...AND WILL
CAUSE WATER TO POND ON ROADS AND FILL POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. THE RAIN
CAN CAUSE RAPID RISES ON SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS.
