The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Iron County in south central Upper Michigan...

* Until 645 PM CDT

* At 550 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Iron River,
  moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Iron River, Crystal Falls, Stambaugh, Caspian, Gaastra, Alpha,
  Bewabic State Park, Stager, Hagerman Lake and Mineral Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Persons in campgrounds should seek sturdy shelter until this storm
passes.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
