FOR EAST CENTRAL SEVIER AND SOUTHWESTERN COCKE COUNTIES...

AT 441 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO INDICATE A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES NORTHEAST
OF GATLINBURG...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GATLINBURG...PITTMAN CENTER...COSBY AND HARTFORD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM...PREPARE IMMEDIATELY FOR LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS ALSO
OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A
SHELTER... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
