.SNOWFALL AND STRONG WINDS CONTINUE THIS MORNING ACROSS THE
SOUTHWEST HIGHLANDS...SOUTHERN TWIN FALLS COUNTY...WESTERN MAGIC
VALLEY...AND CAMAS PRAIRIE. THEREFORE THE WINTER STORM WARNING FOR
THE SOUTHWEST HIGHLANDS AND SOUTHERN TWIN FALLS COUNTY...AND THE
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE WESTERN MAGIC VALLEY AND THE CAMAS
PRAIRIE...WILL BE EXTENDED UNTIL 11 AM MST. THE STRONG STORM
SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT WINDS AND SNOW TO THE REGION LAST NIGHT IS NOW
EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE REGION THROUGH LATE MORNING.

IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST THIS MORNING.

* SNOW AMOUNTS...4 TO 8 INCHES.

* WINDS...NORTHWESTERLY WINDS 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL IMPACT VISIBILITIES AND
  CAUSE SNOW COVERED ROADS MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT ON ALL
  ROADS...INCLUDING INTERSTATE 84...HIGHWAY 93...AND HIGHWAY 51.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT
SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. STRONG
WINDS WILL ALSO CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW...AND WILL
LIMIT VISIBILITIES. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST
TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR
VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.

* SNOW AMOUNTS...TOTAL SNOWFALL WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 5 INCHES.

* WINDS...NORTHWESTERLY WINDS 20-40 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS TO 55
  MPH. WINDS WILL DECREASE SLIGHTLY LATE THIS MORNING.

* IMPACTS...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL IMPACT VISIBILITIES AND
  CAUSE SNOW COVERED ROADS...MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT ON ALL ROADS
  INCLUDING INTERSTATE 84...HIGHWAY 20...AND HIGHWAY 93.
