...A WINTER STORM TO AFFECT THE REGION LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE WILL APPROACH THE AREA FROM THE WEST LATE TONIGHT.
THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO INTENSIFY IN THE GULF OF MAINE FRIDAY
NIGHT AND THEN MOVE INTO THE CANADIAN MARITIMES SATURDAY. HEAVY
SNOW IS POSSIBLE AT TIMES FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY
MORNING. STRONG WINDS WILL CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE
  THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 12 TO 16 INCHES.

* IMPACTS...SNOW...POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL LIKELY RESULT IN
  HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW MAY RESULT IN
  POOR VISIBILITIES ON SATURDAY.

* WINDS...BECOMING NORTH AND INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS
  UP TO 40 MPH.
