...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHWESTERN YUMA AND
NORTH CENTRAL KIT CARSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 PM MDT...

AT 905 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. THREE
TO FIVE INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE PAST 2 HOURS. A TRAINED
SPOTTER 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LIBERTY REPORTED 2.49 INCHES OF RAIN
FELL IN AN HOUR WITH THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORMS. AN ADDITIONAL ONE
TO TWO INCHES IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT HOUR.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
ABARR...HEARTSTRONG...JOES AND KIRK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
