This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Southerly winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50
mph Friday afternoon and evening. The strongest winds are expected
along and east of Highway 83.

Northwest winds sustained at 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
are expected in the wake of a cold frontal passage Saturday morning.

Long range models suggest that a favorable pattern for high winds,
critical fire weather conditions and blowing dust will evolve over
the High Plains early next week.
