THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...
EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

FOR SUNDAY...A SYSTEM MOVING THROUGH THE AREA WILL KICK OFF SOME
PRECIPITATION...SOME OF WHICH MAY BE IN THE FORM OF STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...ESPECIALLY EAST OF HIGHWAY 25 DURING THE
AFTERNOON HOURS.

A STRONG NON-THUNDERSTORM SURFACE WIND WITH GUSTS 35 TO 45 MPH IS
POSSIBLE...THAT MAY CREATE TRAVEL ISSUES FOR BLOWING DUST. THE
MAIN FOCUS FOR THE STRONGEST WINDS AT THIS TIME WILL OCCUR SOUTH
OF INTERSTATE 70 IN KANSAS.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE SUNDAY
AFTERNOON GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70 AND WEST OF
HIGHWAY 25 WHERE NO PRECIPITATION OCCURS. WINDS MEET CRITERIA BUT
RELATIVE HUMIDITY READINGS ONLY DROP TO THE 20 TO 25 PERCENT
RANGE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED TODAY OR TONIGHT.
