THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...
EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A POTENT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING A WIDE VARIETY OF WEATHER
TO THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT WITH
RAIN...THUNDERSTORMS...SLEET...SNOW...AND BLOWING SNOW.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS THE AREA. A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 70 IN KANSAS.

WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO OVERSPREAD THE REGION...CHANGING
TO SNOW FROM THE WEST TO THE EAST THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. A BRIEF PERIOD OF SLEET WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING.
WINDS GUSTING TO 45 MPH THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT WILL LEAD TO
BLOWING SNOW...WITH VISIBILITIES REDUCED BELOW ONE MILE WEST OF
HIGHWAY 25 AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70. YUMA AND DUNDY COUNTIES
WILL EXPERIENCE NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THROUGH LATE TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM 3 TO 5
INCHES NORTH OF INSTATE 70 AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 25. THE HIGHEST
AMOUNTS WILL BE OVER YUMA AND DUNDY COUNTIES WHERE 5 TO 7 INCHES
OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE MONDAY WITH ACCUMULATIONS UNDER ONE HALF
INCH. NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO 45 MPH WILL BE COMMON THROUGH THE
DAY.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL BE NEEDED. SNOWFALL REPORTS...SEVERE
WEATHER REPORTS AND REPORTS OF VISIBILITIES UNDER ONE HALF MILE
IN BLOWING SNOW WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
