EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

A WINTER STORM WILL DEVELOP THIS WEEKEND WITH HIGH END IMPACTS
EXPECTED LATE SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY. FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET
WILL DEVELOP SATURDAY...CHANGING OVER TO SNOW BY LATE SUNDAY
NIGHT...WITH SNOW CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY. INITIALLY LIGHT ICE
ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY WITH INCREASING ICE
ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. HEAVY
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MAINLY
WEST OF HIGHWAY 83.

THE RESULTING ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL LEAD TO TREACHEROUS
TRAVEL CONDITIONS...TREE DAMAGE...AND THE POTENTIAL FOR
WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES. DRIVING IS NOT RECOMMENDED SATURDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY.

THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE SNOW AMOUNTS FOR SUNDAY
NIGHT INTO MONDAY. BE SURE TO STAY UPDATED WITH THE LATEST WEATHER
