...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT
THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

* PEAK WINDS...WIND GUSTS OF 60 TO 70 MPH ARE POSSIBLE...WITH THE
  HIGHEST WIND GUSTS ANTICIPATED WEST OF A LEOTI TO GOODLAND AND
  YUMA LINE.

* TIMING/DURATION...DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED BY MID MORNING OVER
  EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...QUICKLY STRENGTHENING TO THE EAST
  THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING HOURS.

* IMPACTS...THE STRONG WIND GUSTS WILL LEAD TO BLOWING SNOW DURING
  THE MORNING WITH VISIBILITIES DROPPING AS LOW AS A MILE AT TIMES
  OVER THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE WATCH. BLOWING DUST MAY DEVELOP BY
  MIDDAY OVER FIELDS WITH SPARSE VEGETATION...WHICH HAVE DRIED
  OUT SINCE THE LAST RAIN OR SNOWFALL. HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES
  TRAVELING EAST OR WEST WILL BE VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO TIPPING OVER.

A HIGH WIND WATCH MEANS THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR HAZARDOUS WIND
CONDITIONS WITH SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS OF
58 MPH OR GREATER. SECURE LOOSE OUTDOOR ITEMS NOW AND STAY TUNED
FOR LATER FORECASTS AND POSSIBLE HIGH WIND WARNINGS.
