...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1958, a tornado caused two thousand five hundred dollars in
property damage in Hitchcock, Nebraska.  This tornado predated the
Fujita Scale, so it was not assigned an F scale rating.

In 1992, two F0 tornadoes formed in Rawlins County shortly after
8 PM local time.  The paths of the tornadoes were estimated to be
a tenth of a mile long and 10 yards wide.
