...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

IN 1922, AN F3 TORNADO, WITH WINDS OF 158 TO 206 MPH, DEVELOPED
IN YUMA COUNTY COLORADO AT 930 IN THE MORNING. ONE DEATH AND 3
INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE TORNADO PATH WAS 28 MILES LONG AND 300
YARDS WIDE. THE TWISTER IS NOTEWORTHY AS THE LATEST IN THE YEAR TO
EVER OCCUR IN THE TRI STATE AREA.
