...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1965 heavy snow fell along the Kansas and Nebraska border.  Snow
accumulations were generally six to eight inches from Trenton,
Nebraska to Oberlin, Kansas.  However 16 inches of snow fell at
Culbertson, Nebraska, the daily snowfall record at that location.
