...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

IN 1992, UNDER CLOUDY SKIES AND RAIN NEARLY ALL DAY, THE HIGH
TEMPERATURE AT GOODLAND ONLY REACHED 41 DEGREES. THIS WAS 35 DEGREES
BELOW NORMAL AND THE COLDEST HIGH TEMPERATURE EVER REACHED SO
LATE IN THE YEAR.

IN 2007, STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS
IN YUMA AND KIT CARSON COUNTIES IN COLORADO.
