HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GOODLAND KS
708 AM MDT THU MAY 28 2015

Heavy rainfall of 3 to 6 inches or more Wednesday afternoon
and evening across southeast Dundy and southwest Hitchcock counties
in extreme southwest Nebraska continues to contribute to rises
in the Republican River at Benkelman and Stratton. Water levels are
expected to continue to rise or remain high this morning...especially
near Stratton.

The river level at Stratton will crest near flood stage this
morning...and then begin to slowly fall. If additional rainfall
occurs in this area...the river stages will become higher.
