Rain showers were falling across areas generally along and north
of Interstate 70 and west of Highway 25 early this afternoon.
Rainfall amounts were under one tenth of an inch. 2 PM MDT (3 PM
CDT) temperatures range from 32 degrees near Idalia, Colorado to
58 degrees in McCook, Nebraska. Northerly winds were gusting up to
25 mph in McCook, Burlington and Wray.
OUTLOOK... Light rain will remain possible generally west of
Highway 27 tonight while locations in far eastern Colorado will
see rain and snow. Additional snowfall accumulations up to one
inch are possible. Low temperatures will be in the upper 20s to
middle 30s. Dry weather returns on Friday with high temperatures
in the middle 40s to middle 50s. On Saturday, high temperatures
continue to warm with readings in the lower 50s to middle 60s.
There is a slight chance for rain and snow showers Saturday night
west of Highway 27 and south of Interstate 70. Sunday looks to be
dry with high temperatures in the 50s.
