RED WILLOW COUNTIES UNTIL 730 PM MDT/830 PM CDT/...

AT 658 PM MDT /758 PM CDT/...THUNDERSTORM OUTFLOW WAS LOCATED ALONG A
LINE EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES WEST OF RED WILLOW RESERVOIR STATE
RECREATION AREA TO NEAR GEM TO 3 MILES WEST OF MONUMENT TO 16 MILES
NORTHWEST OF LEOTI...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

WIND GUSTS TO 57 MPH ARE POSSIBLE ARE POSSIBLE AS THE GUST FRONT
MOVES THROUGH RESULTING IN AREAS OF BLOWING DUST. BEHIND THE GUST
FRONT WILL BE MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL WITH RAINFALL RATES OVER
FIVE INCHES AN HOUR PRODUCING VISIBILITIES NEAR ZERO AND FLOODING IN
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU MUST TRAVEL AND BE
ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITY.

MCCOOK...COLBY...OAKLEY...OBERLIN...HOXIE...GRINNELL...CULBERTSON...
INDIANOLA...BARTLEY AND REXFORD.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 70 IN KANSAS BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 57 AND 89.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

THESE STORMS MAY INTENSIFY...SO BE CERTAIN TO MONITOR LOCAL RADIO AND
TV STATIONS...AS WELL AS LOCAL CABLE TV OUTLETS...FOR ADDITIONAL
