...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 609 AM MDT/709 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 7 miles northwest of Winona, or 14 miles south of
Brewster, moving southeast at 50 mph.

Hail up to one half inch in diameter and winds of 30 to 40 mph
will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Oakley, Winona, Monument and Angelus.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 32 and 37,
and between mile markers 65 and 80.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
