ICY SPOTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED ON ROADS AND SIDEWALKS EARLY THIS
MORNING. LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW THAT FELL OVERNIGHT HAS LEAD TO SLICK
SPOTS DUE TO BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING. SEVERAL
ACCIDENTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED ON INTERSTATE 70 DUE TO A THIN GLAZE OF
ICE.

MOTORISTS TRAVELING THIS MORNING ARE URGED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION
ON HIGHWAYS...INCLUDING INTERSTATE 70 FROM BREWSTER KANSAS TO
FLAGLER COLORADO. PEDESTRIANS SHOULD ALSO BE AWARE OF A THIN ICY
GLAZE ON SIDEWALKS AND PARKING LOTS.

AS TEMPERATURES RISE THIS MORNING...ANY ICE SHOULD RAPIDLY MELT
WITH IMPROVING TRAVEL CONDITIONS ANTICIPATED BY 10 AM CST...9 AM
MST.
