...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LOGAN AND
SOUTHWESTERN GOVE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 605 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles northeast of Scott State Lake, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible. Accumulating hail may accompany these storms
         creating hazardous traveling conditions.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Logan
and southwestern Gove Counties, including the following locations...
The Monument Rocks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
