Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
329 AM EDT Tue May 7 2024

Other than a few light showers in the south and some areas of
morning fog, the weather will turn fair for the rest of the
morning and early afternoon. Some isolated showers over the
western mountains this afternoon will precede a broad area of
showers and thunderstorms which will move in from Ohio and cross
the state overnight. Some of the storms over the west this evening
and early tonight could make isolated damaging wind gusts. High
temperatures will be between 70 and 80 degrees.

After some lingering showers in the east Wednesday morning, the
afternoon should be mainly dry and mostly sunny. More showers and
thunderstorms are likely Wednesday night into Thursday as an area
of low pressure moves out of the Ohio Valley. A cooling trend
will set in for late in the week and should last through Mother`s
Day weekend, along with lingering showers.
