On Wednesday, May 1st at approximately 11:00am Alaska Daylight Time, the National Weather Service, Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and the Alaska Broadcasters Association will conduct a test of the Alaska Warning System in Denali Borough. The test will only be broadcast on the NOAA Weather Radio transmitter in Nenana. The broadcast will state that it is only a test. NOAA all hazards weather radio listeners monitoring the Nenana transmitter will hear a tone alert followed by a test message. After the test, we invite you to provide feedback Ben Bartos, Acting Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the Weather Forecast Office, at benjamin.bartos@noaa.gov..

Once again, an Alaska Warning System will be conducted for the Denali Borough on Wednesday, May 1st at approximately 11:00am Alaska Daylight Time. The test will be canceled in the event of any significant weather activity.
