HAD BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR NOVEMBER WAS 46.2 DEGREES WHICH WAS 10.3
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL AND WAS THE 2ND WARMEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD. THE
WARMEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD WAS 47.5 DEGREES IN 2001. THE AVERAGE
HIGH WAS 56.0...WHILE THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 36.4. THE
HIGHEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 73 DEGREES ON THE 1ST. THE
LOWEST READING OCCURRED ON THE 21ST AND WAS 19 DEGREES.

LA CROSSE RECEIVED 1.16 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION DURING THE MONTH OF
NOVEMBER WHICH WAS 0.85 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THE GREATEST 24-HOUR
PRECIPITATION AMOUNT WAS 0.67 INCHES WHICH FELL FROM THE 27TH TO
28TH. THERE WERE 6 DAYS OF MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION AND 3 DAYS WHERE
A TRACE WAS RECORDED. ONLY A TRACE OF SNOW FELL DURING THE
MONTH...WHICH WAS 4.1 INCHES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 4.1 INCHES.

NOVEMBER 6...71 DEGREES TIED THE RECORD HIGH FOR THE DAY WHICH WAS
LAST SET BACK IN 1916 AND 2001

NOVEMBER 10...69 DEGREES SET A NEW RECORD HIGH FOR THE DAY, BREAKING
THE OLD RECORD OF 68 SET BACK IN 2012.

NOVEMBER 17...TEMPERATURE REACHED 70 DEGREES REACHED 70 DEGREES
TYING THE RECORD HIGH LAST SET IN 1954.


...DISCUSSION...

A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE DOMINATED THE MAJORITY OF THE MONTH AND
RESULTED MUCH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND DRIER THAN NORMAL
WEATHER. THIS BROUGHT 27 DAYS WITH ABOVE NORMAL AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
WITH THE ONLY BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES RECORDED ON THE 19TH, 20TH
AND 21ST. RAINFALL FOR THE MONTH WAS ALSO SPARSE WITH NO MEASURABLE
RAINFALL RECORDED UNTILTHE 18TH.


...LOOKING AHEAD TO DECEMBER...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR DECEMBER IS 21.6 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE
HIGH TEMPERATURE IS 29.1 DEGREES AND THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE IS
14.2 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF DAYS WHERE THE HIGH TEMPERATURE
IS BELOW 32 DEGREES IS 17.7 AND TYPICALLY THERE ARE 5.1 DAYS OF
BELOW ZERO TEMPERATURES. THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE IN DECEMBER FOR LA
