THURSDAY EVENING SOUTHWEST OF OSAGE IA IN RURAL MITCHELL COUNTY.

SURVEY SUMMARY: THREE FARMSTEADS WERE DAMAGED ALONG A 2.1 MILE PATH
SOUTHWEST OF OSAGE IA. A GARAGE WAS FLIPPED AND DAMAGED. A BARN WAS
DESTROYED AND SIDING ON A HOME WAS DAMAGED DUE TO FLYING DEBRIS.
IN ADDITION...MULTIPLE TREES WERE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED AND SOME POWER
LINES WERE DOWNED. CROP DAMAGE ALSO OCCURRED ALONG THE TORNADO PATH.
STORM DAMAGE ASSESSMENT WAS PERFORMED BY MITCHELL COUNTY EMERGENCY
MANAGER.
