NEXT WEEK IS SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS WEEK IN IOWA. THIS IS AN
ANNUAL EVENT TO REMIND PEOPLE ABOUT THE DANGERS OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS THAT IOWA EXPERIENCES EACH SPRING AND SUMMER.

HERE ARE THE DAILY TOPICS:

MONDAY...FLASH FLOODING
TUESDAY...WARNING RECEPTION
WEDNESDAY...TORNADOES
THURSDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM HAZARDS
FRIDAY...FAMILY PREPAREDNESS

ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 25TH...A TORNADO DRILL WILL BE HELD BETWEEN 10
AND 11 AM. NWS LA CROSSE WILL ISSUE A TEST TORNADO WARNING AT 1020
AM. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT TIME TO PRACTICE YOUR SEVERE WEATHER ACTION
PLANS.
